Hello Softball Captains! NM Senior Olympics’ Softball Team Tournament is almost here, and we wanted to let you know about the check in times/details.
Please see the attached Captains meeting agenda and packet, Pool and Bracket schedules and other pertinent information. There are a couple of new rules you need to be aware of, please read all! Please share this with your teammates.

NEW for 2024 – All registered athletes, to include non-playing personnel, are required to check in with ID that includes photo, date of birth, gender (i.e., driver’s license) and must sign in for Liability Waiver acceptance BEFORE THEIR TEAMS FIRST POOL PLAY GAME TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR BRACKET PLAY.
Scheduling and check-in Information
You only need to check in one time for Pool and Bracket play. NEW for 2024 – All players MUST check in and sign in before their teams FIRST Pool Play game to be eligible for ALL play.
- Check-in – Friday the 13th from 2pm to 7pm at Maag Field, 1450 E. Hadley Dr, Las Cruces, NM.
- Captain’s meeting on Friday the 13th at 3:00 pm at Maag Field. If you cannot attend, please send a representative.
- Pool Play Games start at 6:00 pm for some age divisions, see schedules attached.
- Saturday, check-in starting at 7:00am ONLY for those that have NOT played Pool Play on Friday – see schedules attached for Pool and Bracket game times.
- Sunday, Games start at 8:00 am.
- Please note, schedules are subject to change. And, games will be played under the lights.
- PLEASE STAY HYDRATED! DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS. It will be hot during play.
- Athletic Trainers will be onsite at both complexes
- Qualifying data will be submitted to National Senior Games for this tournament
Concession will be onsite at both fields. NMSO will furnish bananas and oranges, bottled water, and water on each field.
Covered bleachers are available to spectators. See map below for parking and camping.
LEGAL Uniforms will be enforced by NMSO and officials. Exceptions must be requested in advance. See Tournament Information/House Rules for LEGAL uniform.
Athlete Check in will take place at Maag Field 1450 E. Hadley Dr.
