2026 New Mexico Senior Olympics

State Summer Games – Las Cruces

The 2026 New Mexico Senior Olympics State Summer Games are the premier multi-sport event of the year, welcoming athletes age 50 and better from New Mexico and across the country for five days of competition, celebration, and community.

The State Summer Games will be held June 17–21, 2026, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with events hosted at the Las Cruces Convention Center, New Mexico State University, and additional venues throughout the city.

Athlete Check-In and Game Headquarters will be located at the Las Cruces Convention Center.

Who Can Participate

  • Open to athletes age 50 and older

  • Five-year age divisions (50–54 through 100+)

  • Out-of-state athletes are welcome

  • Athletes may register for up to five (5) sports

Registration Information

  • Online and paper registration available

  • Registration fee includes the official State Games T-shirt

  • Registration deadlines apply — no late registration

  • Athletes must register in advance and sign the required liability waiver

New for 2026:
Athletes who register for both the State Winter Games and State Summer Games receive a discounted combined registration rate.

Qualifying for National Senior Games

The 2026 State Summer Games serve as a qualifying event for the 2027 National Senior Games.
Through New Mexico’s Unique Qualification System, athletes may qualify at two State Games sites, increasing opportunities while preserving fair competition.
