Welcome VISTA
NMSO welcomes the arrival of the Senior Olympic VISTA Virginia Kelliher for Eddy County. Virginia comes to New Mexico with extensive Senior Olympic Game experience in Nevada. She has served on the Nevada State Senior Olympic Board for 10 years. During that time she planned, promoted, fund-raised, and organized many sporting events for Senior Olympics. A people person, she has recruited seniors to take part in such sports as swimming, badminton, golf, and her specialty - walking. An avid sports enthusiast since childhood, Virginia also skies, bikes, and plays tennis. Before her Senior Olympic activities, Virginia worked as a Chemistry Researcher for Environmental Protection. She will serve as the Local Games Coordinator for Eddy County. NMSO looks forward to having Ms. Kelliher serve as part of the VISTA Senior Olympic Health Promotion team.
