| STATE GAME UPDATES |
State Games Local Planning Committee expects over 1,400 New Mexico seniors to attend the Annual Summer State Games in Albuquerque, August 3-7.
Look for your Event Confirmation letter in the Mail - The event confirmation contains your event information and many important details pertaining to the Annual Summer State Games- read it carefully and bring it with you to the games!!
Credentials - All athletes need credentials. Guests need credentials when they are attending the on campus Social events such as the Opening Ceremonies and Athlete Social, the Health Expo, or the Senior Prom Final Ball, and to take advantage of the shuttle.
Park & Ride ready for State Games - Athletes may park at any venue and catch the shuttle onto the campus to pick up their credentials. Please show your credentials when using the shuttle for competition. The City of Albuquerque will provide two shuttles to and from UNM and the campus and city area venues for competition. Hours of operation, pick- up locations, and Park & Ride information will be sent out to all registered Annual Summer State Games Athletes.
Final Ball- Senior Prom - will be a Masquerade Ball with all the props – come prepared to have a blast. Formal Attire is encouraged!
Tours available - Look for details in the souvenir program book and your event confirmation. As Albuquerque celebrates 300 years of community history, there will be special events and exhibits all over the city – Museums, Old Town, and other famous tourist attractions are all planning something special. Look for details in your welcome bags when you pick up your credentials. Athletes that decide to attend the Games this year will be in for a real treat.
New Venues! - Dance and Talent will be held at the South Broadway Cultural Center located at 1025 S. Broadway between Avenida Caesar Chavez (Bridge) and Cromwell Avenues.
